Mrs. Murphy was in Cork, Ireland and was educated at Cork University where she received her Bachelor of Arts and a H.D.E.
She has been teaching for twenty-six years, the past twenty-one at Queen of Angels. Mrs. Murphy has been married for thirty-four years and has two children. Her hobbies include water colour painting, kayaking, reading, and traveling.
