Important Notice

Middle School Meeting Tuesday, February 27th from 6:30pm. ALL parents of students in grades 6, 7 & 8 are encouraged to attend. Significant changes to our Middle School will be shared.

Emergency Information

In the event of inclement weather (or other emergency situations), the Principal (or his/her designate) will determine if a school closure is necessary.  This decision will be made as early as possible in the morning.  An announcement of the school closure will be broadcast on the following radio stations sometime between 7:00 am and 8:00 am on the morning of the closure:

  • Juice FM (89.7) - Duncan

As well, a school closure notice will be posted in a RED BANNER, at the top of the home page of our website. Our school admin will contact all families with news of the closure via a *bright arrow telephone message.

*A bright arrow message is an digital voice dialer that enables the school to send out a mass notification via telephone to parents and staff quickly.

If you do not hear of a school closure and the weather conditions are severe where you live, you will have to make a choice as to whether or not it is safe to bring/send your children to school.  Please use your discretion in this matter.  If you decide to keep your children home, call the school office as soon as possible.

In the event of an unanticipated closure during school hours (power outage, inclement weather, other emergency), we will ensure that all children are transported home or to an alternate approved location.

Your child's safety is our main concern in emergency situations.  Please ensure that the office is fully aware of alternate emergency arrangements for your children.  As well, keep the office informed of any changes to phone numbers (regular and cell) and contact people.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We have been very happy with Queen of Angels School. The teachers are very supportive and it's a joy to see our children grow into their independent selves while being nurtured and encouraged. The uniform gives them a sense of pride and belonging. We also enjoy interacting with like-minded parents who show a commitment to their children's education.
