Mrs. MacLean was born in Yorkshire, United Kingdom and attended London University Advanced Art and Science of Movement. She also attended one year at Laban Dance Studio in Surrey, England. Mrs. MacLean married a Canadian in the U.K. and they have two daughters, Jen, an Occupational Therapist, and Lindsay, a lawyer.
