Mrs. Whiteside was born in Toronto, Ontario. She attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where she completed a BAH in Geography and Women’s Studies. After this she lived in New York for one year where she completed her Masters of Science in Teaching. She has taught in Ontario and British Columbia. Mrs. Whiteside lives in Victoria with her husband, her son, and her dog Riley. Surfing and baseball are her favourite sports. She also loves photography, to travel, read, and teach!
