Mrs. Carter grew up in Vancouver and once out of high school, earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing at UBC.   Upon graduation, she moved to  Brighton, England, and worked in the marketing field for six years before heading back to Canada with her British husband, Eamonn, to start a family.  Mrs. Carter was a stay-at-home Mom while their two children, Elliot and Hannah, attended Queen of Angels School.  She went back to school in 2008 to earn her Degree in Education at VIU, with her goal to work within the Island Catholic School system.  Mrs. Carter spends her spare time watercolour painting, reading and walking her family dog, Coco.  She is also a Catechist and member of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Edward’s Parish.
