Mr. Zuback was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees through Lakehead University. He is married with two sons, Carter and Brayden.  Mr. Zuback is the head coach of the Cowichan Valley Wrestling Club.
